Glass for home specialise in supplying a wide range of Fire Rated Glass (also known as Fire Resistant Glass) bespoke to your requirements. We deliver all major brands of fire rated glass giving you the choice to suit your budget and requirements.

Fire rated glass has varying levels of protection, defined by two properties – Integrity and Insulation.

Integrity The ability to withstand fire exposure on one side of the glass for a defined period of time without the spread of fire from the passage of flames or hot gases.

Insulation The ability to withstand fire exposure on one side for the defined period without the spread of fire to the unexposed side by limiting heat transfer (in addition to the integrity barrier).

We also supply cut-sized acoustic, laminated and toughened glass and can manufacture made-to-order insulated glass units (IGUs) made to your specification. So if it’s a small job you need to complete or a larger scale project we can help.

All fire rated glass supplied by glass4home is fully certified to the information provided.

PLEASE NOTE: We supply glass only. It is your responsibility to make sure you use a pre-approved glazing system when installing fire-rated glass. Fire-rated glass must only be used in a certified fire-resistant frame using fire-resistant components to comply.
